Strength Thru Tears
16x20 Framed Papercast
$150

During the time of the Trail of Tears in the winter of 1838-39 thousands Cherokees were marched overland to Indian Territory. During the forced exodus from their mountain homes, over 4,000 Cherokees died. The hardships suffered by the Cherokee men, women and children as they were forced to walk across the frozen land, to a new home in what is now Oklahoma, will be forever etched in the memories of the Cherokee People.
This handmade cast paper sculpture is made with archival material and framed in gunmetal under glass to ensure its lasting beauty.
