paper and the painting is all done in acrylic.

The Cougar has a reputation for independence and silence as he moves through
the mountains and swamps. Individuality tempered with fierce tribal loyalty is
an attribute the Cherokee share with each other and symbolized by the panther.
The cat is in many Cherokee stories. On the shield are seven feathers to
represent the seven clans of the Cherokee.
